Website Terms
Last updated: October 2026
These terms set out the ground rules for using Wellbeing Notes. By reading or browsing the site you agree to them. They are written to be readable, but they still matter, so please take a couple of minutes to go through them.
1. What this site is
Wellbeing Notes is an independent blog about everyday health and habits for adults. It is written by a small team using pen names, none of whom is a medical professional. It is not connected with any public body, health service or campaign group, and nothing here should be read as official guidance.
2. Information, not advice
Everything published here is general information intended to help you understand a topic and ask better questions. It is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, pharmacist, dentist or other qualified professional who knows your history. Do not ignore professional advice, delay seeking it or change a treatment because of something you read here. Our page When to See a Professional explains this in more detail. If you need urgent help, phone your local emergency line.
3. Accuracy
We take care over what we publish and revisit older articles, but health guidance develops and mistakes can slip through. We cannot promise that every page is complete, current or free from error. If you notice a problem, please let us know through the contact page so we can look at it.
4. Using our content
The text, layout and graphics on Wellbeing Notes belong to the site or are used with permission. You are welcome to:
- read pages and print copies for yourself
- share a link to any article
- quote a short passage with a clear credit and a link back to the original page
Please do not copy whole articles, republish our content as your own, or use it for commercial purposes without written permission.
5. Links to other websites
Now and then an article links out to a website run by someone else. We include them where we think they add context, but we do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products, services or privacy practices. Visiting them is at your own discretion.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the site online and working, but we may change, pause or remove pages at any time without notice. We are not responsible for any loss caused by the site being unavailable.
7. Limits of responsibility
To the extent allowed by law, the team behind Wellbeing Notes is not liable for any loss or harm arising from your use of the site or from relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Privacy
How we handle the small amount of information involved in running the site is explained on our privacy page.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised occasionally. The date at the top shows when that last happened, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version.
